At a distance of 5 km south - east of Cheb direct to Podhrad you will find at the edge of the lake of Jesenice (surface 740 hectare) the Camping "Václav" at Podhrad. Sandstone shore and lake's bottom are safe for children. Because of its excellent waterquality it is abounding in all kinds of fish and it offers you several possibilities of watersports such as swimming, sailing, surfing, rowing and of course fishing etc.
The rusticity of the area around the lake invites you to go for walks or cycle - tours. World famous cities with healing sources like Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně and Františkovy Lázně as well places of historical importance like Cheb, Loket, Ostroh, Kynžvart and the natural reserve of SOOS, Kladská are easily to reach by car or train (train station - 300m).
